A Student's Story
Every time I have some free time at the fair, I always try to people watch around me. When I do look around I am always excite to see people who are learning more about the agricultural community around them. Just last year, I met someone who didn't really know where their food comes from, so it was a joy and blessing to help the, learn just a little bit. I am excited to help spread more spread knowledge of agriculture through the community.
Thoughts from a parent
This past year was especially memorable since it was the last year at those fairgrounds. A typical year at the fair or memories would be... eating ice cream cones from the dairy booth. Always hot and then rains at least 1 day so we can all complain about the mud😂.
The rodeo and greased pig contest are always a big hit. It's a great week for livestock kids, they get to showcase all the hard work they have done for the year
We had a team go down to Clay County fair and participated in livestock judging the team got 7th overall. Barret Bleeker placed 5th overall as individual
Congrats to this team!
