Back in 2017, our chapter received a grant from Farm Credit Services of $8,000 to begin putting together a greenhouse. In the fall of 2019, everything started to come to life. With the driving force of our former interim principal, Harlan DeVries, member Western community supporters gathered together to put together the greenhouse! As of March 2020, we have been filling the Greenhouse with flower and veggie varieties! Several of the ag classes have enjoyed being able to enjoy hands-on learning opportunities within the space. We are currently looking forward to our 2nd sale this spring with the plan to be IN PERSON!
